Laura Fowler, co-owner-  I have been a speech-language pathologist for 24 years.  I received a Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana University and Masters of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, License in Illinois and hold an Illinois teaching certificate.  I have worked in a variety of settings including schools (including The Berger School for Students with Autism), private practice with children who were speech and language delayed, on the autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, cleft palate and cognitively and multiply impaired children.  I have experience with articulation, phonology, language, voice, fluency, augmentative communication systems, feeding, swallowing and sensory systems.  I love working with children and parents to increase language skills in all environments!!! 

Traci Micek, co-owner-  I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years.  I received my Bachelors of Science degree from Ithaca College and Masters of Science degree from Syracuse University.  I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, Illinois license and teaching certificate.  I have worked in residential housing, private practice and schools.  I have worked with children with many disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, a variety of syndromes, language, voice, fluency, articuatlion/phonology, apraxia, dysarthria and sensory.  I am certified in PROMPT which is a multidimensional approach to teaching motor skills to increase overall communication.  I love working with children and parents to increase communication skills.  I look forward to playing and working with you!!

Colette Gramins, PT-  Graduating from Marquette University in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science degree in physical therapy, I have been working as a physical therapist for 22 years, with the past thirteen years specializing in pediatrics. I began my pediatric experience working in the public school system, and then moved on to private practice and Early Intervention. I have extensive experience in neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, gait abnormalities, torticollis and plagiocephaly, youth sports injuries, along with other gross motor deficiencies. I am Early Intervention certified, specializing in the 0-3 year old population, as an evaluator and as a treating therapiist. I emphasize gross motor based activities through naturalistic play as motivation to improve skills to optimal level.
